When is the Selling Sunset reunion? Netflix show to have first reunion for season 5
Everything you need to know about the Selling Sunset reunion.
Less than a week after season 5 of Netflix's Selling Sunset landed on Netflix, the streamer has announced a new Selling Sunset cast reunion special.
It’s a good job: season 5 left viewers who’ve already binged all of the episodes with more questions than... well, the last season finale.
From Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause's relationship to new girl Chelsea Lazkani, Heather and Tarek's wedding, and Christine Quinn's ongoing drama with the rest of the Selling Sunset cast, the tea in season 5 was piping hot.
This May, fans of the show will see the girls and twin bosses at The Oppenheim Group reunite to discuss all that's happened so far.
And it certainly looks like there’s a lot to get excited about, judging from Netflix’s first-look photo of Queer Eye’s Tan France moderating the reunion with the cast ahead of its premiere.
However, two major Selling Sunset cast members are missing from the photo – the show’s antiheroine Christine Quinn, and Amanza Smith. Read more on the cast below.
So, when is the reunion out? And what can viewers expect?

When is the Selling Sunset reunion?
The Selling Sunset reunion will air on Netflix on Friday 5th May 2022.
The special episode will be available to stream from 8:01am BST.
E! News previously revealed that filming for the reunion show would take place on April 24th, just two days after the season 5 release date on Netflix.
Will all the Selling Sunset cast be at the reunion?
New OG manager Mary Fitzgerald, Emma Hernan, Heather Rae El Moussa, twins Brett and Jason Oppenheim, Davina Potratz, Chrishell Stause, Maya Vander, Vanessa Villela and new girl Chelsea Lazkani will all be making an appearance.
But unfortunately, not everyone will be back for the reunion episode.
Netflix has released a first-look photo of Queer Eye’s Tan France moderating a reunion with the cast of the reality show ahead of its premiere on 5th May 2022.
However, fans were quick to notice that two Selling Sunset cast members were missing from the photo, including Christine Quinn, who was at the centre of dramatic feuds with Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause.
At the end of season 5, many wondered if Christine was leaving Selling Sunset, as she told Chelsea she'd thought of getting her own broker's licence, and failed to attend a disciplinary meeting with Jason and Mary following Emma's claims that Christine offered money to someone not to do business with her. Christine strongly denies this happened.
However, while rumours that Christine is leaving the Netflix show have been circulating, it appears this isn’t the reason for her absence.
Christine's representative told TMZ that she is quarantined following a positive COVID test, explaining: "Christine tested positive for COVID on Saturday and out of an abundance of caution, she did not attend the reunion."
She wasn’t the only cast member absent from filming of the Selling Sunset reunion.
Amanza Smith also revealed she had tested positive for COVID – and that she wouldn’t make filming in person but was able join via video.
"I'm going to be joining them via satellite, via Zoom, from my kitchen / living area," she announced on her Instagram Story. "I did my own hair and makeup."
Who will host the Selling Sunset reunion?
The reunion show will be hosted by Queer Eye's Tan France.
France is a fellow Netflix star, with shows including Queer Eye, Next in Fashion and Dressing Funny, and fellow Queer Eye star Karamo Brown even made an appearance on Selling Sunset in season 3.
The Selling Sunset season 5 reunion will air on Netflix on Friday 5th May.
